Priscilla Presley is the matriach of the Presley's. Married to Elvis for a time, Mother to their daughter Lisa Marie and grandmother to Riley and Finley and Harper, Priscilla has been the official caretaker of the legacy of Elvis Presley's image and recordings, literally saved Graceland (in Memphis, Tennesee) and has acted in films and produced them as well.

Born at the Naval Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, her mother, Ann, was a woman of Norweigian and Scots/Irish stock. Her father, James had been dating Ann for three years before they wed. He was killed in a plane crash while returning from the war; Priscilla was six months old.

Ann remarried, and Priscilla was blended into the lives of Paul Beaulieu, and his four children. Priscilla became a Beaulieu and became an Air Force Brat — moving from base to base throughout her childhood. She was shy, friendless, and somewhat sad.

Just before high school however, stepfather Paul was transferred to Wiesbaden, Germany. She met Elvis Presley at a party in the home he had rented while in Germany with the U.S. Army. She was 14, he was 24 —  and famous. Returning Priscilla home late, her parents were upset with Elvis, but after a while, they relented. The two saw a lot of each other until Elvis left Germany in March 1960. While swamped with media attention, Priscilla was sure she would never see him again.

After the Beaulieus and the Presleys returned to the states, Priscilla had a telephone romance with the singer. In 1962, her folks allowed her to visit him in Las Vegas for two weeks! Elvis paid for the airfare and chaperone. She began using amphetamines to keep up with Elvis and the Memphis Mafia.

It is believed that Priscilla was living with Elvis at Graceland beginning in May 1963. Her parents told Elvis that he was going to have to marry the girl — after she graduated from Immaculate Conception High School. She was kept at Graceland while Elvis was in Hollywood, sleeping with all his co-stars. Nice. Elvis proposed to the girl in 1966.

Married at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, Presley's manager, Tom Parker, insulted many of Elvis' friends by making the ceremony small. After a honeymoon in Palm Springs, followed by pregnacy, Priscilla gave birth to Lisa Marie on February 1, 1968. When Elvis' career began to take off once more, Priscilla, left at Graceland with Lisa Marie, felt her marriage dissolving. They separated in 1972, and were divorced in 1973. Elvis died in 1977. She became the trustee of the Presley estate on behalf of Lisa Marie.

But with no money coming in, they were running out of dough. Priscilla decided to open Graceland to the public in 1982. She became the head of Elvis Presley Enterprises, growing the trust to $100 Million Bucks.

Producer Hal B. Wallis showed interest in giving Priscilla something to do in films; she began to improve her diction and dancing. She landed a supporting role in the TV movie Love Is Forever with Michael Landon, aired over NBC in April 1983. This led to her being cast as series regular Jenna Wade Krebbs for 144 episodes of Dallas starring Larry Hagman, aired over CBS from November 1983 to May 1988.

During her time on Dallas, her best-selling memoir Elvis and Me was published in 1985. Priscilla became an executive producer on the TV movie of her book Elvis and Me with Susan Walters and Dale Midkiff aired over in ABC February 1988. Busy gal.

Praised for her light comic touch, her role as Jane Spencer in The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! with Leslie Neisen (which played the Chinese in December 1988) become such a whopping hit that she starred with Neilsen in two sequels: The Naked Gun 2 1/2:The Smell of Fear (released in June 1991) and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (which played the Chinese in March 1994).

Presley was an excutive producer and was co-creator (with Rick Husky) for three epidoses (out of 13) of the mini series Elvis with Michael St. Gerard in the title role, aired over ABC in February 1990. It was re-edited into a four-hour TV movie called Elvis: The Early Years, but it has been buried in obscurity due to the same-named TV movie from 2005.

She was an executive producer on the pay-per-view concert Elvis: The Tribute with Chet Atkins, Michael Boulton, Tony Bennet, Cheap Trick and others, which was edited and aired over ABC in October 1994. Enjoying working with animals, Priscilla co-starred and was executive producer on the TV movie, Breakfast with Einstein (who is a dog who has been inplanted with Albert Einstein's brain — get it?) with Thomas Gottschalk aired over The Disney Channel in May 1998.

Since she was seeing Kirk Krikorian, Priscilla was elected to the board of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in September 2000. When the studio was bought by Sony in 2004, she did not transfer over. Seems she laid low for a while.

Getting back into the swim, she was executive producer on the documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher (streaming on HBO starting in April 2018). Getting before the cameras even, she did a celeb cameo in the TV movie Wedding at Graceland with Kellie Pickler and Wes Brown, aired over the Hallmark Channel in June 2019. She followed this up by playing herself in the TV movie Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays with Kaitlin Doubleday and Adrian Grenier aired over the Hallmark Channel in November 2019.

Presley has been executive producer and has hosted (along with Tippi Hedren) a pair of short "Land of the Free" films: Animal Tracfficking Redefined, released in 2020, and Out of the Shadows, released in 2022. Upcoming: she has co-created and is an executive producer on the animated Netflix show Agent Elvis with Matthew McConaughey voicing (singing also?) the title character, dropping in March 2023.

Priscilla is an executive producer of another film adaptation of her Elvis and Me book, Priscilla, starring Cailee Spaeny and written and directed by Sofia Coppola; it was premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September 2023.

Lisa Marie Presley followed the musician's muse in life, producing albums, touring, doing tons of television shows and so on. Despite being the sole heir to the Presley fortune, Lisa Marie kept to her musical star, dying tragically young in 2023.

Born to Elvis and Priscilla Presley on February 1, 1968, Lisa Marie grew up with her mother in Los Angeles. When Elvis died in 1977, she became joint heir to the estate, along with her paternal grandfather and grandmother Vernon and Minnie Mae. Upon their demise (Minnie Mae in 1980), Lisa Marie became the sole heir.

It seems that attending a Queen concert at the Forum had a big impact on the young lady. In 1988, Presley married musician Danny Keough at the Scientology Celebrity Centre in Los Angeles. She had two children, Riley Keough and Benjamin Storm (who is invoked on Lisa Marie's block, under her signature). Benjamin committed suicide in July 2020.

By the time of her 25th birthday in 1993, mother Priscilla had rescued the estate from near-bankruptcy to a worth of $100 Million. After divorcing Keough in May 1994, Lisa Marie married singer Michael Jackson. They had met when, as a six-year-old, she had attended a Jackson 5 concert in 1974. They re-acquainted themselves in November 1992. Lisa Marie became involved in Jackson's drug and legal problems, trying to sort it all out for him.

She appeared in the video for husband Michael's single "You Are Not Alone" (released in August 1995), but in January 1996, she filed for divorce. Although the couple tried to reconcile for years afterward, nothing came of it. Presley married actor Nicholas Cage in August 2002, and were in divorce court by November.

She released her debut album To Whom It May Concern in April 2003, wrriting most of the lyrics and music. After reaching Gold status, Lisa Marie began appearing in various tours, one-off shows and the like. Lisa Marie sold 85 percent of her stake in the Elvis Estate in 2004. She retained Graceland.

Presley's second studio album, Now What, was released in April 2005 featured a cover of "Dirty Laundry." In 2006, Presley was featured in a tribute concert film called Too Tough to Die: A Tribute to Johnny Ramone. Presley contributed time and money in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in late 2005.

In January 2006, Presley married guitarist and music producer Michael Lockwood. Danny Keough served as Best Man. In August 2007, she recorded a "duet" with Elvis and made a video of the song "In the Ghetto" which became a big hit for her charity the Presley Place Transitional Housing Campus in New Orleans. In October 2008, she gave birth to twins Finley and Harper Lockwood.

Collaborating with T-Bone Burnett, Presley's third studio album was called Storm & Grace, released in 2012. In 2016, Presley and Lockwood were separated. The twins were placed with grandmother Priscilla, while Lisa Marie accused Lockwood of posessing child pornography. Lockwood was clearned of all charges in 2017. Their divorce was finalized in May 2021.She "duets" once more with Elvis on the album Where No One Stands Alone, released in 2018.

Just two days after appearing on the Golden Globe Award Show with Priscilla, Lisa Marie suffured a bowel obstruction resulting from bariatric surgery at her home in Calabasas. She died in hospital of cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023. She was only 54. She is buried next to Elvis and Benjamin in the garden at Graceland.
